Raised during a period of industrial decline, widespread strikes, and record unemployment in the UK, Nigel developed a deep passion for improving workplace systems.

During his studies, he became particularly interested in “flexible manufacturing systems,” which later evolved into what is now known as “Lean Manufacturing.”

After earning graduating in Production Engineering, he relocated to Derby, UK, to join the newly established Toyota Assembly Plant.

Over 13 years of training and mentoring at Toyota, he honed his expertise before leaving to establish the first LMAC office.
